Duplicity (2009) movie review

Who Do You Trust?

space

They are modern spies - they steal corporate secrets, and they met stealing secrets from one another.

What happens when two spies fall in love? Can they live happily ever after in a little place somewhere or has living the high life given them the need for one last big hit to set them up for life?

When Ray met Claire it was instant chemistry, and instant treachery. The story of their relationship and the caper they intend to pull is told in a series of interlacing flashbacks.

Outwit. Outspy. Outsmart. Outplay. Then get out.

It's an interesting device. The relationship between the characters and the machinations of their various co-workers and employers adds interest to this modern caper movie. Can there be trust between two people who make their living being untrustworthy? Will they end their lives together lying on a beach sipping something expensive? Watch it and find out. It's a fun ride.
