The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Arthur Dent never could get the hang of Thursdays, which might be why when his best friend (Ford Prefect) reveals that he is an alien and that the Earth is about to be demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, that Arthur suspects that it is Thursday.
