From the VAC website: Comprising the Theatres Building, Hamer Hall and Melbourne’s iconic outdoor performance space, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the Arts Centre programs a diverse range of performances and events to deliver the best national and international performing arts experience.

The new Southbank precinct lies with the Arts Centre along the banks of the Yarra River and is a popular spot with its shops, restaurants and casual eating areas.

Home of the Australian Ballet; Opera Australia; and the Melbourne Theatre Company, Melbourne Symphony.

Guided tours Mon - Fri & 2:30 p.m.; Sat 10:30 a.m. and 12 noon.
