Val McDermid answers the usual questions

Val McDermid has achieved, the journalist's dream. The journo with a novel in the bottom drawer (or lurking on the hard drive) is practically a cliche. She has achieved this, her crime fiction novels have include three successful series, all with strong, though flawed, female protagonists.

She answered our questions while visiting Melbourne. While in Melbourne, McDermid also addressed a meeting of Sisters in Crime.
