Is there any particular incident (a letter, a meeting, a comment that stands out?

Do you have a favourite author or book (or writer or film or series) that has influenced you or that you return to?

I am a fan of, in no particular order, Carl Hiassen, Martin Amis (early funny works), John Niven, Stephen King (the shorter ones) Elmore Leonard, James Ellroy and David Mamet. Films - too many to note. Top three today are The Shining. Bad Santa. The Day the Earth Caught Fire.

Who is the person you would most like to be trapped in a lift with? or a spaceship?

Lift - Cameron Diaz. Spaceship - Ripley - for obvious reasons.

Who is the person you would most DISlike to be trapped in a lift with? Or a spaceship?

Hitler. Can't speak German.

What would you pack for space? (Is there a food, beverage, book, teddy bear, etc that you couldn't do without?)

The London Encyclopaedia. Coffee. Guitar. How to learn Guitar book.

What is the most important thing you would like to get/achieve from your work?

Some (more) readers.

What is the special satisfaction of your work?

I try to amuse with all five novels. All available online. I try to help with all my non fiction books.
