Williamstown has a large population of sail boats, and seagulls. If you eat your lunch outside, be prepared to defend from these folk.

Behind it, moored at the pier is the HMAS Castlemaine, a floating museum.

There are many parks and reserves along the bay, populated with an amazing array of different seating and tables. They offer a great place to watch the shipping trade go by and perhaps have a picnic.

These photographs were taken on a walk along the Western Coastal Bike Trail.
