Mystery Men: How Dumb Can You Get?

Based on the Dark Horse comic, seven lame would-be superheroes try to save Champion City's real superhero Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear). Geoffrey Rush plays the evil villain Casanova Frankenstein.

The Mystery Men are social misfits with super talents that no-one in their right mind would want. The premise and the characters seem to be the result of a one-upmanship of idiocy. How dumb can a talent be? What is the silliest weapon?

The humour is more smart-ass than clever, far from witty, and not providing any kind of insight, which a satire should provide.

A difficult way to pass the time.
